Straight Exit
This is usually the quickest and the most straightforward exit strategy. In this option, for qualifying resorts, our team of advisors will guide you in exiting your timeshare membership completely. For many of our clients, we can also process a type of refund (in credits used for travel) equivalent to your original purchase price. This service usually takes anywhere from 3 to 6 months (on average), but is generally the fastest way to exit a timeshare. We will prepare all the documentation and assist with coordination with your timeshare company to ensure that you are able to exit the timeshare and the timeshare obligations.
Pros:
- You are able to exit the timeshare (and remove the obligation to pay ongoing maintenance fees).
- Fastest: this is usually the fastest and easiest way to exit a timeshare (takes an average of 3 to 6 months).
- Cheapest: Unless you have a highly popular timeshare (there are only a few dozen in the world), this is likely the cheapest way to exit a timeshare when you consider the accumulated cost of years of maintenance fees or special assessments.
- One and Done: you are not obligated to buy another timeshare, you don’t have to wait for it to rent or to resell.

Cons:
- You don’t receive any return on your timeshare. You are actually paying a small fee to exit it.
- TSR is only able to help with the exits from a select number of timeshares (please speak to one of our agents for a list of properties we can exit you from). However, if you own a timeshare we are not working with, we can often refer you to specialists or lawyers who can help you.
- You will be obligated to pay the maintenance fees for the old timeshare until it is officially transferred out of your name. There is a possibility that there might be a year where you pay the maintenance fees for both the old and new timeshares at the same time (however, this can be negotiated at point of sale with the new developer).
- Still not guaranteed. In general, we won’t accept clients who own timeshares that we don’t have experience exiting you from, however, sometimes we run into troubles, because, frankly, timeshare exits can be tough, depending on who the timeshare company is. We can guarantee, however, that we will do everything we can to walk alongside you until the job is done. We also promise to be upfront about the likelihood of being able to exit you from your timeshare and your timeshare obligations.
TSR charges $2995 for exit consulting services, which is usually what you pay in 2 to 3 years of maintenance fees anyway.
