So, How Do These Resort Credits Work?​

This is a question that many of our clients ask us when considering a Straight Exit Service through Timeshare Recyclers, and, well, we think it’s a good one, so we´ll answer it here! 

So how do these Resort Credits work? Well, first of all they can be spent on travel through our travel agency. They spend a lot like airline miles, but on steroids. For example, while airline miles can only be applied towards airline travel, our Resort Credits can be spent throughout the travel industry as a whole. Resort Credits can be applied towards hotel stays, resort stays, cruises, rental cars, and guided tours (not just air travel with a single airline).

What kind of discount do they give you? A big one! Since Timeshare Recyclers has a different business model than the big travel agencies, we don´t need to mark-up the price in order to give you a discount. While most travel agencies (i.e. Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity, etc) have a wholesale plus model pricing structure, we have a wholesale minus Resort Credits price structure. This means that you are guaranteed to beat the OTA price every time (OTA= ¨online travel agency¨…i.e. Expedia, Orbitz, etc). How much of a discount depends on many factors, but most of those factors come down to simple supply and demand. However, on average, when we apply the Resort Credits to the wholesale price you save somewhere around 50 to 60% off the OTA price.

While Resort Credits are GREAT and we´re 100% CONFIDENT that you´ll LOVE our travel agency, this is a good time to remind you that our primary service is to simply get you out of your timeshare. That alone will save you THOUSANDS of dollars and remove all sorts of liabilities which go along with timeshare ownership. Our price for your exit is already nearly 50% less than our competitors who only get you out of your timeshare, but don´t get you anything in return nor protect your credit in the process.

That being said, the Resort Credits are a wonderful way to get some enjoyment for the money you spent years ago and we LOVE THEM just as much as we are sure you will too.
